Shantiniketan Indian School – Afternoon Shift celebrated National Science Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was organized to foster scientific thinking, curiosity, and innovation among students, making it a memorable and inspiring occasion for all.
For Grades 1 and 2, the activity “Meet Our Little Scientists” was conducted. Children dressed up as scientists and confidently performed simple experiments. Their efforts were appreciated and warmly applauded by the audience.
Students of Grades 3 and 4 attended the segment “Science Solves It.” They explained how science helps solve everyday problems through simple examples, making the session informative and engaging.
Middle Section students actively participated in various activities. A special presentation was delivered by Fame Lab participants, Ishfa Firdos and Samia Ghani, which was both inspiring and informative. The National Science Day Quiz Final was conducted, with different teams competing enthusiastically. Students demonstrated excellent teamwork and knowledge during the competition.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Principal, Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, and the Senior Headmaster, Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers.
