National Youth Day – 2022, was celebrated today at Shantiniketan Indian School – Doha, Qatar to mark the Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Students across all sections in the school performed several activities that created a spirit of youthfulness and responsibility towards the society and the nation.
A special Assembly was organized in the secondary section by the students during which they presented the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, a short speech and an interesting Quiz that provided a lot of key information of the great leader. A short film was shown to the junior students to inspire them with his teachings. Students of the middle section organized a seminar to inspire children with his ideas and beliefs that can help them to make India a model nation to the world where there will be true unity in diversity.
The entire SIS family whole-heartedly participated in the online programmes ensuring celebration while ensuring the safety of all in strict adherence to the safety protocols set by the State of Qatar.
