In an essay-writing competition organised by the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), Nikhat Sayed of Class XII, bagged the first prize.
Participants from 8 Indian Schools took part in the competition held at MES School on 19th April, 2014. More than 250 students participated in the competition organised in two different categories – Grade 8-10 and Grade 11 – 12. It was a closely fought out contest and Students from SIS secured high positions in both the categories.
Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), is an organisation organized this competition in memory of Hajika, a social and charitable activist, who bestowed his services to the Indian Community in Qatar. Prizes and Certificates were awarded to high achievers on the occasion.
