The Preparatory Section (Forenoon Grades 3–5) of Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated No Bag Day in collaboration with World Childhood Day on 1 June 2026, creating a joyful and enriching learning experience for students. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Wayne Rodrigues and thoughtfully planned by Ms. Nazia Tahseen, Activity Coordinator, with the valuable support of the teachers.

Grade 3 students enjoyed Story Circle Time, Art from Waste, Action Rhymes and Games, Show and Tell, and created a vibrant “My Happy Childhood” collage. Grade 5 students showcased their creativity through debates, storytelling, Memory Game Challenges, Life Skills Activities, and the highlight event, “Design Your Dream Playground.”

Adding to the excitement, teachers conducted specially planned activities that made the celebrations even more engaging and meaningful. Filled with laughter, creativity, teamwork, and happy memories, the day beautifully reflected the spirit of childhood and joyful learning.
