June 4, 2025:
The “No Bag Day” for the middle section was observed on June 2 for Grade 6, June 3 for Grade 7, and June 4 for Grade 8. It offered students a refreshing break from their regular academic routine and encouraged active participation in a range of creative and thought-provoking activities.
The day was thoughtfully planned to provide meaningful learning experiences beyond the textbook. Students explored various scientific concepts by building model aeroplanes, experimenting with pendulums of different lengths, and investigating image formation through lenses and mirrors. They also tested natural indicators using turmeric powder, making learning both hands-on and engaging. Mathematical concepts were made more accessible through interactive activities involving fractions and square roots, allowing students to visualize and understand abstract ideas in a practical manner.
Adding to the vibrancy of the day, students of Class 6 presented a skit on the theme “Unity in Diversity,” emphasizing the message, “We may follow different religions, but our hearts beat as one.” This reinforced values of inclusivity and harmony. In language activities, students expressed their creativity and communication skills through letter-writing tasks that strengthened both expression and imagination.
The entire day was marked by joy, teamwork, and enthusiastic participation. Students collaborated effectively, developed new skills, and discovered the joy of experiential learning. The event was well-received by both students and teachers, leaving a positive and lasting impression by promoting meaningful learning and all-round development.
