No Bag Day with Joy and Creativity

On October 16, 2024, Shantiniketan Indian School’s Foundation Section turned a regular Wednesday into an exciting, bag-free adventure for Classes I and II. This No Bag Day coincided with World Food Day, where the school planned a day packed with fun, learning, and creativity.
Activities included clay modelling, where students crafted miniature shapes, and an origami session, fostering creativity and patience. Students of class II B impressed with presentations and skits, showing off their public speaking skills. In a special touch, the little ones invited the Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim and the Academic Supervisor Mrs. Mehjabeen Hassan, adding excitement to the performances.
Mrs. Mehak Lateef, the Activity Coordinator, seamlessly organised the day’s events. The day ended with a poetry recital followed by reflective writing.
Thanks to the support of teachers and parents, No Bag Day was a joyful and memorable experience for all.
