September 16, 2026:
Shantiniketan Indian School – Afternoon Session conducted the No-Fire Chef 2026 Inter-House Competition on 16th September 2026 at the MPH Hall. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and culinary skills by preparing and presenting a variety of healthy dishes without using fire.
The programme began with a prayer by Zeba Mariyam and was compered by Veda Sujith and Zera of Class 6A. School President Mr. Rasheed Ahamed, Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, Senior Headmaster Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed, and Supervisor Mr. Salman A K graced the occasion and encouraged the participating students.
The competition was conducted in two categories: Grades 3–5 and Grades 6–8. The dishes were evaluated by Ms. Sajina C.A., Academic Supervisor – Foundational Section, and Ms. Ahsina Parveen Ali, Mathematics Teacher, based on creativity, presentation, and nutritional value.

First Place – Emerald House
Second Place – Sapphire House
The enthusiastic participation of the students, along with the guidance of House Mentors Mr. Mishal, Mr. Farad Ali, Ms. Nusrath, and Ms. Maria, contributed to the success of the event.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Liji Abdulla, Activity Coordinator. The competition concluded on a high note, promoting creativity, teamwork, confidence, healthy eating habits, and presentation skills among the students.
