August 27, 2025:
An online professional development session on “Holistic Progress Card” was conducted for Foundational Section teachers on 27th August 2025, facilitated by Ms. Monica Chawla. The session focused on competency-based education and the importance of integrating higher-order thinking (HOT) questions, effective assessment tools, and the three pillars of success – Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Assessment.
Teachers actively engaged in the session and shared their reflections, highlighting the relevance of holistic assessment in supporting student growth and learning outcomes. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Vice Principal, Mr. Sujith Kumar.
This initiative reflects Shantiniketan Indian School’s commitment to enhancing teaching practices and aligning assessments with competency-based learning to ensure overall student development.
