Shantiniketan Indian School successfully conducted the Grade 11 Parent Orientation Programme on Monday, 20th April 2026, offering parents a comprehensive understanding of the academic framework, course structure, school policies, and co-curricular opportunities for the academic year. The session commenced at 4:00 PM with a prayer by Mr. Mudassir Kirmani, followed by a warm welcome address by Ms. Anjali Kurian, who emphasized the importance of a strong partnership between parents and the school. Vice Principal Mr. Sujith Kumar delivered the keynote address, outlining the vision, expectations, and approach to senior secondary education.
Academic Coordinator Mr. Nihal M presented a detailed overview of the curriculum design, assessment methods, and academic expectations. Stream-specific presentations were delivered by Mr. Abdul Saleem (Science), Ms. Deepamol K (Mathematics), and Ms. Ifra Kursheed (Commerce), guiding parents on subject choices and future pathways. Ms. Soumya Mathew highlighted co-curricular activities, while School Counsellor Ms. Faheema Musthafa addressed student well-being and career awareness. Parents were also introduced to the ERP system by the Netra representative and the JEE coaching programme by Physics Wallah representative Mr. Ramesh. The Senior Operations Manager, Mr. Abdul Hameed explained school policies, followed by an engaging interactive session. The programme concluded at 5:00 PM with a vote of thanks by Ms. Shafeeah Moidu.
