Shantiniketan Indian School successfully conducted the Parent Orientation Session for KG I on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, at 7:30 a.m. in the school’s Multipurpose Hall (MPH), warmly welcoming parents to the beginning of their child’s kindergarten journey.
The programme began with a prayer by Issa, setting a positive tone for the morning. Aizah Furqan presented the Vision of the School, followed by Ishaal Mansoor, who shared the Mission, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic development and nurturing young minds.
Academic Supervisor Mrs. Mehjabeen Hasan welcomed the parents and introduced the Foundational Section, highlighting the vital role of the mother teachers of kindergarten in guiding and supporting young learners. Mrs. Kavitha Solomon then presented an overview of the KG I curriculum, outlining the learning approach, focus areas, and developmental goals.
Parents were also briefed on school policies, procedures, and information on books and uniform distribution by Mr. Abdul Hameed. School Counsellor Mrs. Faheema Mustafa emphasized the importance of a safe and secure environment, reinforcing the school’s commitment to student well-being.
An interactive open session led by Vice Principal Mr. Sujith Kumar allowed parents to clarify their queries. The programme concluded with closing remarks by Principal Mr. Rafeeq Raheem and a vote of thanks by Ms. Fathima Hanaan.
The session was informative and engaging, strengthening the partnership between parents and the school and reaffirming the shared goal of creating a supportive and enriching learning environment for every child.
