The Parent-Teacher Meeting held on June 14, 2023, in Shantiniketan Indian School was a successful and productive event. The purpose of the meeting was to foster communication and collaboration between parents and teachers, allowing them to discuss the progress and development of their children. The meeting was well-attended, with a significant number of parents. Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary school teachers were present to discuss the academic, social, and behavioural aspects of the students’ performance.
Parents were provided with progress reports for their children, outlining their academic performance, attendance, and any specific concerns or areas of improvement. Teachers explained the grading system and discussed individual strengths and weaknesses. Parents had the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with their child’s teachers. This allowed for detailed discussions about the student’s progress, learning style, and strategies for improvement. Teachers provided suggestions for parents to support their child’s academic growth at home. The PTM facilitated a deeper understanding of each student’s individual needs and allowed parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey.
It was a successful event that fostered collaboration, communication, and partnership between parents and teachers which would prove to play a crucial role in promoting a positive and conducive learning environment for the students.
