Parents of SIS discusses on “Role of Parents in Achieving School’s Objectives”

The Parents of Shantiniketan Indian School gathered on the virtual platform to discuss on the Role of Parents in achieving School’s Objectives. The parents whole heartedly participated in the Parents discussion forum to share their insights on how they can meaningfully participate in the development of school whilst helping the school achieve its refined objectives.
The event anchored by Mrs. Jumana was actively attended by a large number of parents sitting comfortably at their home sharing valuable inputs for an enriching experience for all the audience. Mr. Anis Karim moderated the enlightening discussion. Mrs. Antoinette Rose- shared her tips on how to “Develop a Positive Attitude among Children.” Mrs. Nadiya Noorudeen – shared her own experiences on how as a parent she raises the morale of her children and what better can be done. Mrs. Leena Ollachery shared ways in which parents can make children socially responsible. Mrs. Sarita Bhandari Paudel talked about wellness and happiness and its impact on health. Mrs. Shini Mohandas shared valuable tips through personal examples on the ways how parents can help in the improvement of academic achievements.
The school Principal – Dr. Subhash B. Nair also motivated the parents for an increased and meaningful participation of parents in the education of their children. He advised the parents to keep them calm and refrain from imposing unrealistic expectation and accept their children as they are. He asked them to remain happy and allow children to enjoy a joyful learning experience. He congratulated the entire team for their excellent ideas and viewpoints on some very relevant points that they discussed.
