The English Department successfully organized the Pen and Podium Competition for students of Grades 3 to 8 on 29 January 2026, providing a vibrant platform for young learners to express their thoughts with confidence and creativity. The event aimed to enhance public speaking skills while encouraging originality and clarity of expression. Students delivered impactful speeches on themes such as “Learning Is the Real Superpower,” “My Message to the World,” “Little Lessons, Big Impact,” “Words Have the Power to Change Mind,” “Failure Is the First Step Towards Success,” and “Being Kind Is the Real Strength.”
Participants impressed the audience with imaginative ideas, personal experiences, and confident delivery. Performances were evaluated based on expression, content, clarity, and overall presentation. Hawwa Zuhrah of Class 4B was awarded Champion Speaker (Preparatory Section), while Bahja Razan of Class 8A secured the title of Champion Speaker (Middle Section). All participants received certificates of participation, making the event a truly inspiring and memorable experience.
