“Little steps march forward phonetically in a fun and frolic ambience…!!!”
Phonics Bug activity was conducted at SIS on 12th June 2019 to create a highly stimulating learning environment for the tiny tots.
A string of enriching and interesting online games on phonics like letter sound match-up, spot the blended words, blending sound hopper and bumper cars, were integrated with the lessons to help children develop and refine their phonic skills. Fun-filled activities and lively phonic songs further reinforced different skills like listening, pronunciation, speaking and reading thereby encouraging our little ones to experience the wonder and joy of reading books which lead to the development of literacy.
‘Phonic Bug’ day proved to be a quick and an easy way to help the children to explore their creativity and imagination through extensive use of phonic charts, spelling rules and blending sounds.
