September 9, 2025:
A special awareness session on Puberty was conducted on September 9, 2025, for Grade 8 and 9 girl students. The session was led by a representative from the Ministry of Health, following a request made by the school to promote health education among adolescent students.
The one-hour session focused on creating awareness about the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that occur during puberty. The resource person provided clear and age-appropriate explanations on personal hygiene, nutrition, emotional well-being, and self-care practices.
The session was highly interactive and effective, engaging students throughout. A Question and Answer segment at the end provided an opportunity for students to clarify their doubts in a comfortable and respectful environment.
Students expressed that the session helped them understand the changes they experience with greater confidence and awareness. Teachers also appreciated the initiative for its educational value and the professional approach of the resource person.
The program was coordinated by the Senior Activity Coordinator, Ms. Soumya Mathew, and was well-received by all participants.
