December 7, 2025:
Shantiniketan Indian School (Afternoon Shift) celebrated Qatar National Day with great pride and patriotism. The event reflected deep respect and love for the nation, bringing together students and teachers in a spirit of unity and gratitude.
The Foundational Section showcased a vibrant and well-organised National Day Parade, beautifully emphasising values of respect, patriotism, and cultural appreciation among the young learners.
For Grades 3 to 9, the programmes were organised by the Social Science Department. A quiz competition based on the theme “Qatar” was conducted for the Middle Section, enabling students to enhance their knowledge of the country’s history, culture, and heritage.
Adding colour and energy to the celebration, students from all sections presented various traditional dance performances, expressing their admiration and pride for the nation of Qatar.
The programme was further enriched by inspiring addresses from President Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, Senior Headmaster Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed, and Foundational Section Coordinator Ms. Sajina Cholayil, who shared thoughtful messages, National Day wishes, and encouraged students to uphold the values and spirit of Qatar.
