February 10, 2026:
Qatar National Sports Day activities were joyfully conducted for the Preparatory Section (Grades 3–5) by the Forenoon Teachers, under the planning and supervision of Activity Coordinator Ms. Nazia Tahseen and Academic Supervisor Mr. Wayne Rodrigues. The celebration blended fun with active learning, encouraging students to understand the value of fitness and healthy living. Students began by folding paper into four sections to draw their favorite sport, a healthy food, a simple exercise such as jumping or running, and the Qatar flag or National Sports Day logo, decorating their work in national colors. Working in small groups, they designed simple fitness board games featuring actions like squats, jumps, and balancing, later exchanging games and tracking completed exercises. Each group also created a sports awareness campaign with slogans, fitness plans, challenges, or safe exercise routines, highlighting the importance of sports for the nation. The activities concluded with students performing exercises together, proudly promoting an active and healthy lifestyle in the spirit of Qatar.
