On the occasion of World Hindi Diwas, the Hindi Department of Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) successfully released a handwritten magazine titled “Deepak” and a short video, “Thodti Pathar,” on 14 January 2026. The programme aimed to promote the richness of the Hindi language while encouraging creativity and self-expression among students.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, School President, who lauded the efforts of the Hindi Department and inspired students to develop a deeper appreciation for Hindi language and literature. The magazine Deepak featured students’ creative writings, poems, short stories, and illustrations, reflecting their linguistic proficiency and imagination. The short video Thodti Pathar delivered a powerful message on perseverance and determination, earning appreciation from both teachers and students.
The initiative successfully nurtured creativity, confidence, and cultural values, making it a meaningful celebration of World Hindi Diwas.
