To honor the parents of Kindergarten students, the Foundational Section of the Afternoon Shift celebrated Roots and Wings Day on 7 May 2026 with great joy, warmth, and happiness. The event beautifully highlighted the strong bond shared among parents, children, and the school community.
The celebration came alive with colourful dances, cheerful performances, and heartfelt presentations by the little ones, dedicated especially to their parents. The audience was delighted by the children’s confidence and excitement, making the occasion truly memorable. The cheerful smiles of the children and the proud expressions of the parents filled the atmosphere with love and positivity. Every performance reflected the innocence, creativity, and enthusiasm of the young learners.
Parents also participated wholeheartedly in a variety of engaging activities, competitions, and games, adding excitement and vibrancy to the programme. Creative events such as “Draw Your Child” and “Cooking Without Flame” showcased the talents, imagination, and teamwork of the participants. The active involvement of parents made the celebration more meaningful and strengthened the connection between home and school.
The gathering was graciously addressed by the respected President, Mr. Rasheed Ahmed; Senior Headmaster, Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed; Senior Operations Manager, Mr. Abdul Hameed; and Foundational Section Academic Supervisor, Ms. Sajina C.A. In their speeches, they appreciated the dedication and cooperation of the parents, students, and teachers in making the event a grand success. They also emphasised the importance of nurturing children with strong roots of values and giving them wings to achieve their dreams.
The programme was organised successfully through the collective efforts and teamwork of the mother teachers of the Afternoon Foundational Section. Special appreciation was extended to Ms. Maneesha, Programme Convenor, and Ms. Mashitha, Activity Coordinator, for their outstanding coordination and smooth execution of the event. The dedication and sincere efforts of the organising team ensured that every moment of the celebration was enjoyable and memorable.
