School Olympics Programme

Students from Shantiniketan Indian School participated in the School Olympics Programme (SOP)held at Qatar Sports Club and Al Arabi Sports Club. With over 25 schools taking part, the competition offered an opportunity for students to showcase their athletic talents and gain exposure. The athletes from Shantiniketan School stood out with exceptional performances in various events.

In particular, Mohd Irfan, of Grade VI, achieved 1st place in the Long Jump event, demonstrating remarkable athleticism. Gopika Baiju and Ann Rose Vinod, both from Grade XII, secured 2nd place in High Jump and Long Jump respectively, showcasing their prowess. Additionally, the students displayed great teamwork, earning 3rd place in the Relay event. The team consisted of Mohd Irfan, Muadh Shihab, Mohammed Saud, Abdul Rahman, Zahwa Abdul, Sharon Riya, Tanmaya Sachi, and Haniya, all from Grade VI.

These results reflect the dedication, hard work, and skill of the Shantiniketan School athletes, who not only competed with enthusiasm but also demonstrated sportsmanship throughout the competition. The event provided the students with a valuable experience, allowing them to learn and grow through the challenges of athletic competition.
