September 16, 2026:
Shantiniketan Indian School proudly conducted the Science Talk Final Round for students of Grades 6–8 (Forenoon Section) on 16 September 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the MPH. Organised by the Middle Section Science Department, the event provided students with a platform to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, creativity, confidence, communication skills, and ability to explain scientific concepts effectively.
The 12 finalists were Eshal Maryam (8A), Saanvi Sushilkumar Shinde (8A), Talyah Abdel Rahman (8E), Maher Layn (8E), Aathira Jahangir (7A), Hamda Marshal (7A), Nasha Hasan Mambra (7A), Mohammed Ashar Ahmad (7A), Stefana Antony Shibu (7A), Aayisha Abdul Samad (6A), Muhammed Naufal (6C), and Hiten Rao (7B).
Aathira Jahangir of Grade 7A secured the First Position, while Eshal Maryam of Grade 8A secured the Second Position.
The presentations were evaluated for scientific understanding, accuracy, clarity, communication, confidence, creativity, and overall presentation.
The judging panel comprised Mr. Abdul Saleem, Head of the Science Department, Mr. Nihal M, Physics Faculty, and Ms. Aneesha Majeed, Biology Faculty.
Special appreciation to Ms. Shahanaz Sultana, Ms. Sruthy Nibin, Ms. Soumya Mathew and Ms. Harsha Haridas for their valuable guidance and encouragement.
