December 10, 2024:
The Kindergarten Section at Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated ‘Season’s Day’, a vibrant event that brought the magic of spring, summer, autumn, and winter to life for children in KG1 and KG2. The classrooms were transformed into stunning representations of each season, creating a colorful and immersive experience for all.
Children arrived dressed in imaginative costumes representing the seasons and enthusiastically took part in a variety of themed activities. In the craft station, the young learners created seasonal art, such as snowflakes for winter, blooming flowers for spring, and summer sun designs. These hands-on projects allowed the children to explore textures, colors, and shapes while deepening their understanding of nature’s cycles. Interactive games were also organized, where the children learned about seasonal changes through storytelling and role-play
These activities not only sparked the children’s creativity but also helped them understand the unique characteristics of each season in a playful and engaging way. The event seamlessly blended fun with education, inspiring young minds to connect with nature and fostering a greater appreciation for the beauty of the world around them. It was truly a day filled with laughter, discovery, and cherished memories.
