Sensorial Perception Week was conducted in the Pre – Primary Section from 14th to 18th April 2019 to help children acquire auditory and tactical sense.
Enriching activities with musical instruments and sensory materials like Sound Cylinders, Bells etc. developed the auditory sense, while the tactical sense was sharpened through the use of Touch Tablets and Fabric Feel. Classes were reverberating with the rhythm and sound of musical instruments.
Montessori materials such as Scent Bottles helped children differentiate smells with their olfactory sense. Visual materials aided in the child’s perception of unique colours, shapes and dimensions.
These sensorial activities developed and refined the little ones’ senses, besides strengthening their logical and perception skills.
