SIS Celebrates 22nd Annual Day with Simfunia – The Musical Extravaganza

Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated its 22nd Annual Day with a musical extravaganza titled –‘ Simfunia’ a virtual programme premiered on YOUTUBE. The virtual programme showcased the Annual achievements of the school and the musical skills of children.

The musical evening witnessed exquisite individual talents and brilliance of the students from Kindergarten, Junior, Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections of the School.

His Excellency – Dr. Deepak Mittal – Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar congratulated the students, parents, teachers and the School Management for braving the Pandemic and extending support to the learners to excel in the scholastic and co-scholastic domains. He also expressed optimism to witness the live performance of the talented children in the coming year.  Mr. K. C. Abdul Latheef – The Managing Director of the School Management Committee, congratulated the students and the Staff who were honoured for their outstanding achievements and showered appreciation to everybody who worked hard proactively to overcome the challenges of the COVID situation and maintain the standards of SIS.

Mr. Rasheed Ahamed – President of the SIS Management Committee, expressed happiness about the quality and standard that have been established due to the collective efforts of the students, teachers, parents and the communities. He also invited parents to participate  actively and spend more time with the school and share their expertise to collectively built the future generation of our school as value-oriented people with capability to face the future challenges

Principal – Dr. Subhash B. Nair, presented the Annual Report highlighting the vision mission and achievements of the students and teachers. Mr. Austin, A delightful teacher in the junior section presented the report of the annual events and achievements of the school in the calendar year.

Head boy of the school – Shourya Pratap Bisht welcomed the gathering and the Head Girl – Miss Lamya Ibrahim presented the note of appreciation.
