Junior wing of SIS, marked the International Literacy Day on 8th September 2015, forming a human chain and conducting a silent procession in the school premises. Students from class III to V participated with fervor, making placards and written messages which reflected what did ILD envision.
The activity ignited minds of the children with values of imparting education and they got to realize to be the spark to light the world.
It made them aware of their social responsibilities and the role they have to play in society emphasizing the importance of Literacy in broad sense.
