Students, Teachers, administrative staffs, Members of the Managing Committee and the parents of Shantiniketan Indian School, participated with great enthusiasm and fervor in the various Associated Activities organized on the auspicious celebration of Qatar National Day 2017 across the State of Qatar.
Students prepared themselves rigorously to put up a colourful show in the Thematic Parade, Thematic Qatar Show, Thematic Qatar Song, General Thematic Show Songs and cultural shows at the Wakrah Stadium amidst all rejoicement, mirth and merriment.
Administration and support staff participated in large number at Asian Town cheering the cricket stars from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Congratulations to the SIS Team for attaining overall Third position in the various events organized among six participating schools at the Wakrah Stadium.
A strong team of Middle school students from SIS put up an exemplary dance performance in the program organized by Malayalam FM 98.6 at Barwa Albaraha.
SIS students also participated in Drawing Competitions and Exhibitions themed ‘Sketch Your Support’ and ‘I Love Qatar’ organized by Skymedia in association with Malayalam FM 98.6 and Academy of International Music Art and Culture respectively.
A large team of teachers with their families visited the Corniche to witness the spectacular parade and some glittering fireworks that lit up the night sky in Doha.
Members of the Managing Committee actively motivated, inspired and encouraged the SIS family in all celebrations across Doha affirming love, solidarity and gratitude to the State of Qatar in its endeavours to promote Human, Social, Economic and Environmental Development aligned with Vision 2030.
