SIS celebrates Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was celebrated at Shantiniketan Indian School with great enthusiasm and spirit to mark the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallavbhai Patel. Students attending the physical classes took the Pledge to uphold the unity and integrity of India and develop a sense of cultural unity to strengthen human bondage and spirit.

The day was marked by students from all sections picking up the activities under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat to bring the culture and traditions of the paired states of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh. Students presented the rich culture and traditions of the two states through dance, songs food presentation, and fancy dress shows. 

Students in the secondary Section presented the life and contributions of the Iron Man of India, delivering speeches in their classrooms. Teachers also showcased the movie on the life of Sardar Vallavbhai Patel and his roles in the nationalist movement and as the first Home minister of Free India.

The messages and feelings of Unity in Diversity kept the students closer from different regions of India upholding the true picture of our Great Nation.
