SIS Conducts Remote Online Teachers Discussion Forum

Shantiniketan Indian School organized remote online teachers discussion on “Effective Methodology for Remote Teaching” with the panelists demonstrating various digital tools and techniques that can ensure an engaging, interactive and effective teaching learning process in this critical time where nations are adopting social distancing and students confined to their homes.

The discussion moderated by Mrs. Nazia Saleem, witnessed demonstration by teachers from all sections on ways to flip their lessons.  Ms.Varalakshmi Ganesan (KG); Ms. Mahek Latheef (Primary); Mr. Austin Solomon (Junior); Ms. Sheeja Thamby (Middle); Ms. Aneesha Majeed (Secondary); Mr Tono Fernandez (Senior Secondary) with tools like Edpuzzle, Quizlet, Prezi, whiteboards, mid mapping tools, and a lot more in addition to Google Suite Platforms that are currently being used for remote teaching to students of all classes from KG – XII.

Principal – Dr. Subhash Nair expressed happiness at the progress of Remote Teaching that is benefitting the students and has urged the teachers to make use of all the tools available and discussed to make the process effective, engaging and interactive.
