SIS Conducts Webinar on “Goal setting for Excellence in School Education”

Shantiniketan Indian School conducted its signature Professional Development – Makeover Phase 22 on 29th March 2021.  Teachers were effectively engaged with discussions and activities that facilitated an enriching experience of the traits of being Delightful Teachers. 

Mr. Dudley O’Connor, Vice Principal, highlighted the essential elements of Professionalism among teachers and ways through which they can be extremely competent. Ms. Mehjabeen Hasan, Senior Head Teacher enlightened the teachers with attributes that can lead to refined Personality Development. Ms. Bushara, Head Teacher Secondary Section motivated the teachers with ways through which they can become transformational leaders adding value to their teaching practices. Mr. Mathew K.C, Head Teacher Middle Section discussed various Innovative Methods to teach ethics which can lead to generating better human beings.  

Dr. Subhash B. Nair, Principal introduced the concept of Design Teaching for happiness. He also expressed happiness at the active participation of all the teachers for sharing their views. The session concluded with Moderator Ms. Mehek Lateef and panel members Mr. Abdul Saleem Mohammed, Mr. Hamza, Ms. Carol Fernandez discussing “Goal setting for Excellence in School Education”.

School Management Members were present to motivate and encourage the teachers. Mr. Rasheed Ahmed congratulated the Principal and the Academic team for their excellent performance and contributions towards attaining extension of accreditation for the school and for attaining Global Education Summit for Innovation in pedagogical practices.
