The Girls’ Team of Shantiniketan Indian School bagged the silver medal in the Cross Country race organized by the School Olympic Programme (SOP) conducted under the auspices of Qatar Olympic Committee and the Supreme Education Council.
In the Competition held at Rayan Park, The SIS girls raced to the second position after overcoming several challenges. It was a tough competition in which a large number of Independent and Private schools of Qatar participated with their best athletes.
The School Management and the Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair showered praise and appreciation to the team and the Physical Education Department for their excellent achievement.
