Shantiniketan Indian School -Doha, organized its signature event – Inter-School Polemic Challenge – 2021, on the virtual platform where eight Indian Schools debated intensely on the topic “School Examinations should be redesigned to be online during the pandemic and beyond.”
Shourya Pratap Bisht (SIS) emerged as the Best Speaker and the Best Rebuttal, MES Indian School was declared the Best School in the Inter School Polemic Challenge – 2021while Shantiniketan Indian School was the First Runner Up and Pearl School – Doha secured the second Runner Up position.
Sixteen Participants from eight Indian Schools namely Shantiniketan Indian School, DPS-Modern Indian School, M.E.S Indian School, DPS Monarch, Noble International School, Ideal Indian School, Doha Modern School and Pearl School participated in this prestigious event. Sneha Tom, Assistant Head Girl of SIS moderated the intensely contested debate.
The panel of judges consisting of Mr. Virnedranath, Ms. Anupama Kasibathla and Mr. Girish Jain, appreciated the genuine thoughts, ideas and arguments presented by all the contestants and congratulated all the participants for sharing their minds on a topic that holds so much importance for students around the world in the critical period of education where assessment needs a deeper thought and mindful planning.
Dr. Subhash Nair, Principal of SIS appreciated the participants for bringing out brilliant insights that will help decision makers come up and curate a system that can help redesign the assessment system.
