SIS Emerges as Best Team in the Qatar Chapter’s Inter School Polemic Challenge 2022

Shantiniketan Indian School emerged as the Best Team in the Qatar Chapter’s Inter School Polemic Challenge 2022 organised by SIS. Twelve Indian Schools participated in the event. Participants from DPS-MIS, M.E.S Indian School, Birla Public School, DMIS, DPD Monarch International School Ideal Indian School, Al Khor International School, Noble International School Podar Pearl School, Loyola International School, Rajgiri Public School and Shantiniketan Indian School debated on the topic “Social Media will positively Influence the Holistic Development of Students.”

The debate, which was moderated by Mirza Muhammed Rafi of Class XII, was intensely contested. Devika M of Birla Public School was adjudicated the Best Speaker, Prathishtha Bisht of SIS won the award for the First Runner Up and the Best Rebuttal. The second Runner position was won by Ashley Hemanth of Olive International School. SIS team comprising of Prathishtha Bisht and Sania Naaz emerged as the best team.   

The judges Mr. Virendranath, Mr. Bhullar Singh and Mrs. Durga Mavaru , expressed their delight to judge an intensely debated topic and expressed their happiness the students shared their viewpoints and argued their points. They also shared valuable tips and feedback that would take them to a greater level in their debating skills

Ms. Pamela Ghosh Dasgupta Principal of SIS congratulated all the speakers and appreciated all the participants for putting up an exceptional performance.
