The two-day SIS STEM & STREAM Expo in connection with Silver Jubilee Celebration of SIS has successfully concluded, showcasing an impressive display of student creativity at the SIS Campus. Themed “The Future We Build: Shaping a Sustainable, Equitable, and Innovative World,” the event featured unique sub-themes such as Ecoverlia and Sustania, Green Hydrogen, Robinson Crusoe, Biodiversity ,Green Desert, InfraRed Flood Alert System (IFAS)and many more.
The SIS STREAM expo was inaugurated by Mr. Yousuf Aqeel Al Emadi, on 24th October 2024, Thursday, an official from the administration of Private Schools Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. It highlighted innovative initiatives in hydroelectricity, sustainable living, and advanced wastewater filtration. The chief guest shared positive remarks about the students’ efforts. The event fostered community engagement and celebrated collaboration and learning, with intense competition among various themes. The best projects were awarded.
Additionally, the SIS STEM Inter-School Expo, held on 25th October 2024, was declared open by Mr. Jacob Mathew, Convenor of the CBSE Qatar Chapter and Principal of Olive International School. Ten CBSE Indian schools participated, leading to a tough competition evaluated by distinguished judges from Qatar University. Doha Modern Indian School, Scholars International School, DPS-MIS and Birla Public school received the position for best innovative projects, with Doha Modern Indian School emerging as the Overall Champions for the year.
In summary, it was a triumphant celebration of student talent and their dedication to a sustainable future.
