Dr. Saif Al Hajri, CEO of G4S Qatar W.L.L. an educationist, environmentalist and a Sportsman, inaugurated Shantiniketan Indian School Green School Project on the occasion of Qatar National Environment Day 2019, adding another stride in its march towards excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr, Saif Al Hajri, appreciated the efforts of the school in aligning with the schools vision with Qatar National Vision 2030. He advised the students to develop values that could make them future leaders in Qatar and in their own country. He praised the efforts of the school for creating an enthusiastic, healthy and green environment protecting nature at its best.
The School Management Committee, under the leadership of Mr. K. C. Abdul Latheef, contributed neem plants, representing each class and sown by the students along with the guests.
Welcoming the Guests and the members of the school management, Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair appreciated the efforts of the parents, students and teachers in creating a garden that attract a large number of birds which has made the campus more beautiful and healthy.
Pratishta Bisht of Class V explained the importance of having a greener environment promoting the school vision based on one of the Pillars of Qatar’s Vision 2030, to protect and nurture environment to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development of generations.
