An Inter Class Singing Competition was organized by the Junior section at SIS in the month of April. Students of grades I to V participated in the competition. The objective of the competition was focused on inclusive practices, where all children were given the opportunity to participate, build on their confidence, showcase their passion and express themselves in a rhythmic chorus of groups. Children were able to showcase their talents and express themselves through songs, namely, ‘Heal the World’, ‘One more step along the way I go’, ‘Life is a breath of fresh air’.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the mellifluous song and were impressed with the confidence, tonal quality and enthusiasm with which they sang. The occasion was graced by Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair, Vice Principal, Mr. Dudley O’Connor, Head Teacher, Ms. Heena Imran Dhondne, Assistant Head Teacher, Ms. Shalini Priya, teachers and students.
