SIS organized Parent Orientation Sessions for Secondary and Sr. Secondary section parents to apprise them with the revised assessment structure of CBSE 2019-20, the best practices of SIS, and procedures and the policies.
Head Teacher, Mrs. Mimoona Beevi, welcomed the parents and highlighted the plans and programs to enhance students’ performance in the Board Examinations. Mrs. Liji Fernandez introduced the teachers of the Secondary Section, Mrs. Thirumagal Deepa presented the best practices of SIS and Mr. Shakir Hussain explained the Assessment Structure highlighting the changes introduced in the assessment pattern by CBSE. Mr. Wilson presented the discipline policy of the school.
The Senior Secondary parents were oriented by the dynamic Student Council Members of 2019-20. Riya Jayaprakash welcomed the gathering. Hiba Yoosuf presented the Best Practices at SIS, Kaniz Fathima gave an insight on the Revised Assessment Structure for 2019-20. Kevin Sajeev apprised the attendants with the Discipline Code followed at SIS while Smart Suresh and Muneef Muneer explained the Personal Guidance Plan. Tabarak Gulrez and Hafsa Binth flawlessly anchored the program.
Senior Vice-Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath shared about SIS Learn -Active Learning Pedagogy with a tag line ‘Every Child Can Learn and Achieve High Performance’. Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair, while appreciating the visible transformation among the students and the growth of their confidence and skills, shared the importance of parents’ role in the academic and physical wellness of their ward.
