Teachers of Shantiniketan Indian School had a discussion on “Mindfulness” to help teachers understand the importance of being mindful in the teaching learning process.
The discussion moderated by Mrs. Nazia Saleem, threw much light on being mindful, the state of being fully present or being genuinely self-aware. The panelist Mrs. Ayesha, discussed on Using Mindfulness to Help Manage Stress at Work. Ms. Sameena shared how she managed her fear while discussing “Beyond Fear Freeze or Flight.” Mrs. Suchitra explained how to stay focused on one’s present experience with nonjudgmental awareness. Mrs. Chandrima demonstrated “Mindfulness with Art Therapy.”
Principal – Dr. Subhash Nair expressed happiness for discussing on a very relevant topic in today’s educational world and said that the best example of being mindful is to love children and practice genuine self-awareness.
