June 11, 2024,
Students from SIS displayed remarkable sportsmanship and talent at the CBSE Cluster Boys’ Table Tennis Tournament held on June 10th and 11th, 2024, at Doha Modern Indian School. The tournament, featuring categories for Under 14, Under 17, and Under 19, saw spirited competition among 12 teams in each category.
Representing SIS across all three categories, our students showcased outstanding skill and dedication on the court. The Under 19 boys’ team particularly stood out as they advanced to the semi-finals, demonstrating exceptional performance. Despite a fiercely contested match against Loyola International School, they secured the commendable 3rd position.
Making it to the semi-finals amidst tough competition is a significant achievement, reflecting the hard work and commitment of our players. Their representation of the school with enthusiasm and skill is truly commendable. Securing the 3rd position, especially after such a competitive match, is a source of pride for the team and the school community.
Congratulations to the Under 19 boys’ team for their impressive performance, as well as to all the students who participated in the tournament. Their dedication and sportsmanship have brought honor to SIS.
