SIS Starts Academic Session 2020-21 through Virtual Classrooms

Shantiniketan Indian School started its new Academic Session from 1st April, 2020 through Virtual Classrooms for students from KG-II to Class XII successfully. Teachers worked from home and students used the school’s e-learning portal, Google meet virtual classrooms, Edu Brisk platforms strictly in compliance with the Government’s policy of social distancing to fight against the deadly COVID-19.

Mr Umar Al Niama, Asst Under Sec. Ministry of Education, has appreciated the efforts of the entire SIS team and the School Management for developing and implementing this contingency plan to ensure that the right to education of its children are not interrupted.

Director of Private Schools Department – Mrs. Raudha Al Zeedan, expressed happiness for the efforts of the school and wished success.

Rigorous online training programs for all teachers and administrative staffs, content preparation and technology integration was completed well on time under the guidance of Principal- Dr. Subhash B. Nair, Mr. Syam Krishna M.S. – ICT Head Teacher ,Vice Principals, Administrator, Section Heads and the teachers.

President – Mr. K.C. Abdul Latheef, Mr. Rasheed Ahmed T. S and other Management Committee Members appreciated the professional, positive and supportive teaching and administrative staffs for enabling the smooth transition from the real classroom to virtual classrooms within a very short period of time.
