In the first edition of Islamic awareness competition on Quran recitation and elocution was conducted by Ideal Indian School, sstudents from SIS excelled in Senior and Junior categories. Bushra of class 12 bagged first position in elocution and Abdhulla Mohyidhin of class 11 secured second position in Quran recitation in the senior category. Thabarack of class 9 secured third position in elocution and Misnad Khasim of class 9 secured third position for Quran recitation in the junior category. SIS secured an overall 3rd position among all the schools.
