Students of Shantiniketan Indian School won the second prize in the 8th GASNA Competition – the national competition for schools, organized by GPC (Gas Processing Centre) to enhance the understanding of the importance of gas and gas processing to the economy and the future of Qatar.
Four Students – Safa Sadique Basha, Alisha Vinod, Sneha Tom of Grade 11, and Haripriya P.S. of Grade 10 teamed up under the guidance of Mrs. Anjali Kurian – the Chemistry Teacher. The team presented the poster on the topic – “Gas Revolution and Conservation.”
The programme which was held in the College of engineering, Qatar university was participated by 50 schools in different categories. SIS got the second position in the 4th Category for their innovative ideas presented through the poster and explained to the greatest satisfaction of all.
The entire SIS family feels proud of the achievement of the students and congratulate them for their distinctively excellent performance.
