April 28, 2026:
Grades 1 and 2 students participated in an engaging wellness session titled “Stop, Think, Go” on Tuesday, 28th April at the MPH, conducted by School Counsellor Ms. Faheema under the “Badi Campaign” as per Ministry guidelines.
The session focused on building emotional awareness, positive behaviour, and responsible decision-making among young learners. It began with a warm welcome and an exciting mystery box activity that revealed a traffic light model, instantly capturing students’ curiosity. Using this concept—Red (Stop), Yellow (Think), and Green (Go)—students explored how to pause, reflect, and respond thoughtfully during strong emotions.
Through songs, demonstrations, interactive discussions, and a fun traffic light movement game, students actively engaged in learning. They also practiced calming techniques like balloon breathing, “smell the flower, blow the candle,” and the butterfly hug. Activities on identifying emotions, understanding kind vs. hurtful behaviour, and real-life scenarios further strengthened their learning.
The session concluded with a reflective pledge and positive affirmations, empowering students to make thoughtful choices and practice self-regulation in their daily lives.
