SIS Teachers had a revitalizing and refining two day Active Learning Session with CBSE Empanelled Trainers.
This Advance Level of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) training programme was a highly interactive and engaging session where teachers were re-enlightened with the core domain of CCE that will definitely make them more resourceful and better equipped to evaluate the students of SIS. The first day of the two-day training programme was reserved for scholastic assessment. The teachers were trained to design the Formative assessment tools more effectively and to facilitate better learning in the classroom. Teachers were also fine-tuned with the effective use of various tools and techniques that make the evaluation process highly objective and meaningful. They were also enlightened with designing of rubrics and setting of Formative and Summative questions as per the levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy of learning objectives.
The teachers were also attuned with the assessment of Co-scholastic areas – the different life skills, attitude and values. The whole hearted participation of teachers and their positive exchange of thoughts with the resource persons helped them to successfully progress through the programme. The trainers also appreciated the process and practices of evaluation at SIS. This Advance level Training on CCE will surely bring about a more productive approach towards assessment for learning and to make learning enjoyable for children.
