“A JOURNEY IS BEST MEASURED IN FRIENDS, RATHER THAN MILES”
Shantiniketan Indian School organized a unique learning experience for grades 3 to 5 to encourage curiosity and is also a best tool to provide real world experience. Memories of school educational trips are among the most prominent of the formative years, largely because they are a welcome break in the routine for both students and teachers. The purpose was essentially to educate and can also be a fun bonding experience. Around 400 students boarded the bus at 07:30am accompanied by teachers and visited to Jungle Zone.
The students were given an opportunity to explore the venue. Jungle Zone is safe, clean and incredibly fun place for students to explore with mind blowing rides, entertainment, and food options, students had a day jam-packed with thrills.
School trip enhances students’ learning by providing the opportunities for students to participate in curriculum related activities, outside the normal school routine. Jungle Zone offers delicious food options, created with students in mind. This is a great way for
the group to eat together while enjoying everything around. It gives them the opportunity to learn beyond classroom and help them to understand the facts in more practical and realistic ways. All in all it was a fun trip with lots of learning embedded in it.
The whole event was planned in collaboration with Jungle Zone team and SIS Trips and Academic Supervisor – Mr. Wayne Rodrigues. The trip was supervised by the Activity Coordinator, Ms. Nazia Tahseen, with the support of preparatory section teachers. Trips are just never forgettable as they are lived full heartedly with the best ones. Finally it concluded on a high note, was indeed a memorable experience and children witnessed a mix of emotions to go back to their homes.
