Veer Gatha 3.0 is an incredible project launched by the Government of India as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration. The aim of Veer Gatha is to honor the brave heroes and unsung warriors who have contributed to India’s independence struggle throughout history. The program was coordinated by Mr. Wayne Rodrigues in the Middle section grade 6-8.
Under Veer Gatha, various activities were organized to commemorate the courageous individuals who fought for freedom. These activities include painting sessions, essay writing, interactive experiences and Multimedia presentations. The project aimed to create awareness and educate people, especially the younger generation, about the sacrifices and struggles faced by our freedom fighters. Mrs.Chandrima, Mrs. Fathima Rizna, Mrs. Neethu and Mrs. Revathi were the teachers involved in motivating and achieving the goal of the Indian Government.
This project served as a reminder of the rich history and heritage of India’s independence movement, fostering a sense of pride and gratitude among the students and all stakeholders at Shantiniketan Indian School.
