April 23, 2025:
A group of students of Grade 12th, accompanied by the school counsellor Mrs. Faheema Mustafa, attended the Open Day at Lusail University, Doha, on Wednesday 23rd April 2025. The event provided students with firsthand exposure to the university’s academic offerings, career opportunities, and campus culture.
Students explored various Bachelor’s and master’s programs offered across four colleges and learned about unique international collaborations. The students were introduced to four colleges under the University, namely: College of Education and Arts, College of business and finance, College of Law and College of Information Technology. The interactive sessions, program showcases, and discussions with university representatives allowed students to better understand potential career paths.
The students were given the opportunity for a Campus tour, which enabled them to explore the state-of-the-art facilities of the university. The students were impressed by the modern classrooms, laboratories, Library and recreational areas.
The Open Day visit was a motivating experience, inspiring students to consider their future academic choices more seriously. It broadened their horizons, strengthened their aspirations, and encouraged them to align their higher education goals with their career interests. Many students expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities at Lusail University and felt more confident in planning their academic futures.
