Celebrating the Joy of Childhood!
The Foundational Section (FN) of Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated World Childhood Day on 1st June 2026 with great enthusiasm, creating a memorable day filled with laughter, creativity, and happiness.
The programme began with the Al Asr Prayer, fostering an atmosphere of peace and gratitude, followed by a cheerful Welcome Song by Ms. Rachana Binoy. Students enjoyed the exciting Magic Mystery Box activity, while teachers delighted everyone with the nostalgic skit, Down the Memory Lane, bringing cherished childhood memories to life.
The celebration continued with Joyful Tunes of Children, a lively musical presentation showcasing the innocence and energy of childhood. The colourful Smiley Parade, featuring children proudly carrying their favourite toys, spread smiles all around.
A special highlight was Wishes Take Flight, where children released balloons carrying their dreams and aspirations, symbolising hope, happiness, and a bright future.
The event beautifully captured the spirit of childhood and left lasting memories in the hearts of all.
“Let the spirit of childhood stay forever in our hearts.”
