Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June,2014 in collaboration with Galfar Al-misnad in the school campus. On this occasion, commitment towards society and environment were demonstrated by organising awareness programmes and competitions for the students.
Topic for the event was “Raise your voice not the Sea Level.”
A seminar on ‘Pollution’ was organised by the students of Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections.
Students and Staff planted many trees in the campus.
A drawing competition on ‘Save Earth was organised by Gulfar.
Winners in the various competitions were felicitated.
