Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2016. Students of class VII International stream and SIS Eco club members actively participated in the programme. Principal Dr. Subhash B.Nair, Vice Principal (Academics) Mr. Shihabudeen Pullath, Vice Principal (CBSE-i) Mr. Dudley O’Connor, Head of Science department Mr. Tono Fernandez, teachers and students planted sapling in the school campus. A Drawing competition was also organized. Miss Lamiya CBSE (i), Miss Fatima of class XII emerged as winners.
The activities were conducted in collaboration with Gulfar, Misnad Group, Doha,Qatar.
