In a heart-warming display of global solidarity and appreciation, Shantiniketan Indian School hosted a SIS Global Connect, a virtual event where teachers from across the globe came together to celebrate World Teachers Day on October 5th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (Qatar time) It was a testament to the unwavering dedication and passion of educators worldwide.
The program started with a moment of prayer, followed by a touching rendition of the national anthem, symbolising the diverse backgrounds and cultures represented in the virtual gathering.
Participants from around 30 countries were welcomed, setting the tone for an uplifting and inspiring event. Shantiniketan Indian School Principal, Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, took the stage to deliver a heartfelt address, acknowledging the tireless efforts of educators and highlighting the importance of their role in shaping young minds.
